The Trendsetter Collection - In Trendsetter, we set out to create journeys to delight our most loyal guests.  Our vision is to give them the opportunity not merely to stay abreast of what’s new in the world of travel, but to lead the way; to help us redefine what comes next.  It is for those who long for the next “new” place; who enjoy a bit more adventure than other people; and those who are willing to experience a country or region on its own terms, before the infrastructure is fully developed.  Trendsetter Collection was inspired by and named after that spirit!  The opinions of our loyal guests matter to us, and can provide honest, unbiased feedback.  We take those observations and experiences seriously as we continue to evaluate the merits of each new locale.  In return, we are offering these adventures at substantially reduced prices.  Several of these journeys travel to areas that are not yet frequented by the general traveling public, but show definite promise to become established destinations in the next three to five years.  Other programs explore possible new additions to Big Five’s award-winning portfolio, and feature less-developed destinations that may not always offer the level of comfort or overall polish we have come to expect.  What others see as drawbacks, however, are at the heart of why you travel – to experience an authentic sense of place, uncluttered by commercialism or artificial intervention.  We deeply appreciate that our guests return to us time and again because they trust us to deliver life-enhancing experiences.
